An Old Friend comes Home.

The Whitman Square Fire Company has purchased some of its history back, a 1981 American LaFrance TeleSquirt. Originally purchased new by Whitman Square in 1981, this Ladder Truck served Washington Township for many years. The members of Whitman Square Fire Company will volunteer their time and restore it back to its original condition, including its original color of Robin's Egg Blue.

The Truck will be displayed as a piece of history for the Company and be used for Fire Prevention and occasional area parades.

Money to purchase the truck and restore it was raised by the members of Whitman Square. NO tax payer money was used.
