2020 Bond Referendum

Bond Funds Will Accomplish the Following Work

• Replace the Johnson Road station with a new fire station including but not limited to: The total estimated cost for this project is $8,352,165
• Demolition of existing building.
• Structural fill of basement
• Relocate Overhead service to cell tower
• Construct new fire station
• Emergency generator for entire building
• All site work
• Outdoor signage
• Technology, furniture and fixtures, all other amenities.
• External pole barn
• All soft costs
• Renovation to the East Holly Ave. and Hurffville-Grenloch Road fire station including but not limited to: The total estimated costs for these upgrades is $1,015,750
• East Holly Avenue:
• Upgrade sleeping quarters for firefighters
• Upgrade existing toilet facilities to include showers and most recent ADA compliance
• Install 2 new toilet/shower rooms
• Fitness room upgrades
• Gear room upgrades to include ventilation
• Upgrade parts of the HVAC system and new security door
• Hurffville-Grenloch Road:
• Upgrade sleeping quarters for firefighters
• Upgrade to HVAC system
• New gear room with ventilation
• Training mezzanine
• Roof Replacement
• Other fire district wide projects as shown below. Total estimated costs for these upgrades is $600,548.
• Replace damaged aprons throughout district.
• Mill and replace parking lot area at headquarters
• HVAC systems repair/upgrades
• Vehicle exhaust systems for stations
